Alex Fowlie is the current Human Resources Manager for Cascades Containerboard Packaging , a brand new state of the art manufacturing facility, in Piscataway, NJ In this role, Alex has responsibilities that cover a broad range of Human Resources areas, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and benefits administration.
Prior to joining Cascades in 2017, Alex’s career in Human Resources included the positions of HR Manager/Director at Viking Pest Control, an environmental services company, and Senior HR Training & Development Coordinator with Goldman Sachs
Alex attended Rutgers University’s Cook College and received BS in Exercise Science. He also attended Rider University and received a MBA with a focus on management. Alex obtained his Professional Certification in Human Resources (PHR) in 2008. Alex is an avid fitness enthusiast and competitive runner for the past 25+ years having completed dozens of races of varying distances including the NYC and Boston Marathons.
