Michael Ehret is the Head of Succession Management and Assessment Strategies for Johnson & Johnson. In this role, Michael designs solutions to advance and increase enterprise leadership pipeline depth and diversity, and the identification and advancement of emerging leaders.
Most recently, Michael was the Head of Human Resources for the Commercial Franchises within the Medical Devices sector. In this role, Michael led the talent and HR strategy agenda for the sector’s three franchises, the strategy office, and all Commercial Centers of Excellence. Previously, Michael was the Vice President of Human Resources for Johnson & Johnson’s Supply Chain, and prior to that, the Vice President of Talent Development, responsible for global Leadership Development and Learning, as well as Talent Mobility. Other past experiences include working at Bristol-Myers Squibb and CIGNA where Michael held several Human Resources Generalist and Talent Management positions, beginning his career as a member of the CIGNA HR Leadership Development Program.
Michael received his Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Global Leadership and Change Management from Pepperdine University, and his Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Organizational Leadership also from Pepperdine. He has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond.
Michael serves on the Advisory Boards for the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations and the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. He is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
