Julia Ruth Gibson is currently a Business Community Liaison for Management Training Company – a private organization – that manages the Federal Department of Labor Work Force programs. She is an ambassador for students, focusing her efforts on assisting the students in identifying, obtaining, and retaining employment in addition to developing leadership skills.
Julia graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. She followed her undergraduate years by attending George Mason University where she was awarded a Master’s Degree in Arts Management. Julia is a professional educator, business connector and community engagement specialist with experience in all types of organizational structures. She is passionate about creating interactive and positive environments that support learning in the work community.
Julia has previously been recognized for her exemplary work with youth in Middlesex & Morris Counties. She was honored with a Service Excellence Award for her work with the Lions Club and the Edison Job Corps Academy. She was also recognized for Community Supporter of the Year from the Middlesex NAACP, Phenomenal Woman Award from the Job Corps, Trainer of the Year for her work with Leadership and Youth.
