Michelle Radney is a leader in the healthcare industry with 25 years of diverse experience in sales, marketing, operations, and strategy roles. In her current role as Sr. Director, Global Strategic Marketing with Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech division she is responsible for leading the Global Biosurgery business in the development of marketing strategies, overseeing the new product development pipeline and advancing the momentum of the biologics business to accelerate growth for the portfolio.
Prior to joining J&J in 2018, Michelle worked for Novartis as the Chief of Staff for the U.S. President, as well as a Director of Marketing. Michelle is honored to have earned several awards for transformational leadership, sales excellence, and organizational contributions throughout her career. She is passionate about leadership, people development, mentoring and organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Michelle is a sought-after speaker and contributor both in and outside of J&J on a wide variety of subjects such as leadership and teamwork, sales excellence, women empowerment, and various DE&I topics. Michelle is a proud and active long-time member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (AKA), Inc. the first Greek-lettered sorority established and incorporated in 1908 by African American college women.
As an active member of The Alzheimer’s Association, Michelle is helping to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia through global research and early detection. Michelle formed “Team Hattie’s Angels” to honor her late grandmother Hattie Johnson who lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease in 2019. Team Hattie’s Angels has raised over $23,000 since 2019.
Michelle is a graduate of the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Arizona State University’s Hugh Downs School of Human Communication. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband of 22 years, David, their teenage daughters, Taylor and Morgan, and their chocolate lab, Charlie. She is a “self-proclaimed” foodie and enjoys cooking and creating food that brings a smile to her family and friends.
