Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Expands Non-Profit Services

The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Tom Park and Kathy Shaw will be serving as the Co-Leaders of the Chamber’s Non-Profit RoundTable. Mr. Park is a new addition to the Board of Directors and currently the Vice President of Client Relations for Diamond Business Communications. Tom will be joined in leading the Non-Profit RoundTable by Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Vice President, Kathy Shaw.
“Non-Profits are at the heart of our community and we look forward to expanding our services in supporting them,” states Chamber President, Lina Llona. Chamber Vice President and Non-Profit RoundTable Co-Leader Kathy Shaw, echoed Llona’s insight, “Nonprofit Organizations are our Friends, Relatives, Neighbors and Community Leaders whose goal is to help the Community and World at large become a better place to live, work and peacefully coexist.”
Thanks to the efforts of Chamber Board Member and RoundTable Co-Leader, Tom Park who has designed a focused strategy and a plan is already in place to make the most of the new program. The RoundTable’s mission is to enlighten, encourage and empower non-profits. For starters, the RoundTable will bring monthly discussions together featuring Non-Profit thought leaders, who will propose and promote strategies that will help the organizations in the advancement of their missions.
The first two programs are already scheduled for September and October:
Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Virtual Lunch and Learn for Non-Profits. The first of the series is titled: “The Nonprofit Fundraising Dilemma: How to Stop Repeating Failed Strategies” presented by Dennis Miller, President of Dennis C Miller Associates, Inc. Expert in Non-Profit Leadership Executive Search and Non-Profits & Board Leadership Coaching.
Wednesday, October 14, Second in the series will be “Chip in America: Community Partnership Crossing the Bridge post Covid-19” presented by Pam Cooper, Senior. Director, Chip-In at Beyond Inc.
