It was a dry, but windy day for the 73rd-Annual Bernie Cohn Golf Classic on May 23 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe.

Once again, the Chamber dedicated the outing to a man whose magnetism, enthusiasm and his “going out of the way” approach led to his success in business and charitable work. Cohn was active with the MCRCC and is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Golf Classic. He was also a recipient of the first Leaders of Distinction Award.
Cohn’s gift was connecting many not-for-profit organizations with business leaders and foundations, even in his retirement. On this day especially, we remember our friend and the love he had for the game of golf.

Each year the annual golf classic serves as an opportunity for business and community leaders in Middlesex County to connect while supporting the Chamber’s efforts to improve consistently and create new opportunities.
There was plenty of networking on and off the course for members and sponsors. All golfers enjoyed lunch before hitting the links and returned to the clubhouse for a delicious dinner. Each hole even had a game for members to enjoy, whether a bean-bag toss or a marshmallow tee off.
It was all pretty cool to watch!
