The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Presents “Building Strong Business Relationships” as part of the Chamber’s Developing You: A Personal & Professional Growth Series Courtesy of The Emerging Leaders Committee.
Several factors have led to the emergence of new ways for teams to work together. Building relationships with your team is more important now than ever. Online web meetings, Wi-Fi, and low-cost communication methods such as instant messaging and video chats have become more common. Working with others remotely has become the new normal and it can present its own unique challenges. In this workshop, we will explore some best practices to engage with others in this current environment and create strong relationships.
About:
Virtual and partially virtual teams are very similar to traditional teams. However, communication and team-building occur more naturally in face-to-face interactions. Learning to adapt and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues, clients and team is critical to our success.
What you’ll learn:
- Learn techniques and tips to improve relationships and create new ones.
- Communicate effectively and use technology that fits the situation.
- Identify ways to foster an environment of virtual teamwork, trust, group effort and cooperation.
