Drive-by Food Drive: June 6
Come out this Saturday at Menlo Park in Edison and drop off a nonperishable food donation to help support your Middlesex County neighbors who are struggling with food insecurity!
The Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS) will be hosting a drive-by food drive on June 6 from 12 to 4 p.m.
The food drive will take place at the Menlo Park Mall Parking Lot near Barnes & Noble/Cheesecake Factory (Parsonage Road entrance, 55 Parsonage Road in Edison).
MCFOODS is accepting donations of canned and packaged goods only (no glass). This includes:
- Canned chicken & meats
- Pasta, mac & cheese, rice, grains, dry beans (red, black, pinto),
- Stew (low sodium)
- Vegetables (low sodium),
- Fruits (low sugar)
- Cereal, granola bars
- Paper products
- Diapers, wipes, shampoo, soap & toothpaste
Volunteers will safely remove the donation from your vehicle with no contact and load them into our truck.
