This event will offer actionable next steps that nonprofit leaders and donors can take to achieve truly transformational levels of diversity in the organizations they lead and support.

Our Program Will Cover: 

• Provide an overview of core concepts related to diversity, equity & inclusion. 
• Recognize the impact of systemic racism on leadership, staffing, service provision, programming and funding.
• Offer strategies to increase equity throughout an organization’s DNA.

Yvette R. Murry is the President and CEO of YRM Consulting Group. With over 35 years of experience, Yvette’s work has been a catalyst for increasing organizational agility, resilience, and operational excellence. She and her team are passionate about fostering equitable communities domestically and across the globe.  Her firm’s value statement is grounded in Peter Drucker’s adage, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” Yvette and her team work hand-in-hand with C-suite executives and their teams to take advantage of an increasingly multi-racial and multi-ethnic world. 

Yvette’s firms approach embeds equity and anti-racist policies and practices throughout an organization’s DNA.  Research shows that companies with greater workplace diversity are more agile, make better decisions, and achieve better business results. and improve their “bottom line.”  Yvette doesn’t believe in a one training fix. YRM Consulting’s method encompasses the entire organizational universe while supporting amazing individuals that “make it all happen.”  Yvette is the past board chair for the NJ based Center for Non-Profits. She has worked as a visiting professor, community advisor and social justice advocate.  Her clients have included NGOs/non-profits, governments, higher education, and multinational firms throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Yvette holds a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in nonprofit management and public policy from Rutgers University. She was a selected fellow with the Rutgers School of Business in social enterprise and entrepreneurship, Harvard Business School in non-profit governance, 21st Century Trust in global public health, and Salzburg Global in emerging democracies.
