The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Presents “Leading a High Performing Virtual Team” as part of the Chamber’s Developing You: A Personal & Professional Growth Series Courtesy of The Emerging Leaders Committee.

You will learn some strategies and tools that can accelerate success in our current environment. You will explore the challenges of leading a diverse group of individuals and specific ways that help turn that group into a cohesive, high-performing team working together toward shared goals. You will focus on how to lead virtually as organizations are forced to work remotely.

Completion of this module will empower participants to:

– Define the skill sets important to virtual teams and leaders

– Identify the benefits of virtual teams and the challenges of leadership

– Explore prevailing myths about leading virtual teams and ways to overcome them.

– Use the Dale Carnegie Human Relation Principles to strengthen relationships with team members while working remotely

Radia Carr is the VP, Client Engagement & Corporate Trainer for Dale Carnegie of Central & Southern NJ. She has been a corporate training professional and consultant for her clients for the last 10 years. Radia has a true passion for leadership, presentation skills and sales training.

She has also been a top performer in sales for Dale Carnegie in all 11 years. She has consistently been ranked in the Top 15 in the US and Globally. Some of her clients include Wakefern Food Corporation, CISCO, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novo Nordisk, Williams-Sonoma, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, Investors Bank and others in Central NJ. Radia is passionate about coaching professionals to high levels of performance and seeing them transform in their personal and professional lives. She is truly passionate about helping others and raising money for MS yearly, involved in the Rotary Club of New Brunswick, NJ working to fundraise yearly.

Radia has a BA Degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick and is a graduate of the Somerset County Police Academy. She is fluent in both English & French.
