Join the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, May 19th for its annual Community Leaders of Distinction at 6 p.m., at The Pines Manor, 2085 Lincoln Hwy in Edison.
The Community Leaders of Distinction Award honors an individual or organization whose activities have made a difference and have improved the quality of life for our neighbors and the communities in Middlesex County. This award celebrates and showcases the honorees’ important contributions to our community.

- Emerging Leader of the Year – Larisa Perlovsky, Area Marketing Director, Optimum
- Hometown Hero of the Year – Michele Lombardi, Council President (Ward 4) Piscataway Township
- Public Servant of the Year – Steve Mamakas, Executive Office, Old Bridge Mayor’s Office of Economic Development
- Community Organization of the Year – Saint Peter’s Family Health Center
- Community Volunteer of the Year – Howard Alexander, Program Director of Fast Break Buddy Ball, East Brunswick
