Middlesex Chamber Launches Interactive Workforce and Economic Development Series

‘Make It & Move It Middlesex’ Connects Business and Legislative Leaders

The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce (MCRCC) will launch next month a new economic development series designed to connect the region’s business community with legislators and county resources.

The series, Make It & Move It Middlesex, continues the momentum gained in the September 2017 Middlesex County Business Summit, where attendees were able to navigate the many business resources provided by Middlesex County.

“At its core, the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce serves as a conduit to local, county, and statewide resources to make sure our Central Jersey business community thrives,” said Lina Llona, President, MCRCC & Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Make It & Move It Middlesex will launch with four preliminary sessions through April 2018. The first session will feature Sen. Linda Greenstein and will take place Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Silver Line by Andersen, 1 Silverline Drive, North Brunswick, NJ.

Silver Line by Andersen was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Make It & Move It Middlesex series.

“Silver Line has been a critical partner in piecing this program together. We’ve been particularly fortunate that they have lent their considerable insight and their facility space to this program,” Llona said.

To date, EisnerAmper and Single Throw Marketing have signed on to sponsor the November session.

Other sessions will take place February 2018 (State Assembly), March 2018 (County Freeholders), and April 2018 (Women in Government).

“This program is intentionally designed to maximize the benefit of running a business in Central Jersey,” said Craig Schlosser, Vice President, MCRCC/Convention & Visitors Bureau. “There are myriad resources available that often go untapped. We need to make sure our business community enjoys the full complement of services available for them to succeed,” he said.
