Prior to the New Jersey legislature\, Assemblyman Stanley served as a two-term councilman and two years as council president in East Brunswick\, where he has lived for more than twenty years and where he has raised his three children- Silas\, Sapna\, and Selena. During his time on the council\, Assemblyman Stanley prioritized active engagement with community members and\, as council president\, structured meetings to be transparent and responsive to resident concerns. Now as the 18th district assemblyman\, he is working to bring responsible economic growth to each municipality\, while driving clean-energy and infrastructure investment to create local\, sustainable\, good-paying jobs. The Assemblyman is currently serving on the Assembly Health Committee and the Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee\, where he is sponsoring legislation to protect the health and safety of New Jerseyans during the COVID-19 pandemic.  \nFor nearly twenty years\, Assemblyman Stanley has worked in the financial sector in the areas of insurance\, mortgage banking\, and investment management. This financial experience has allowed him to serve the community as a Board Trustee of the Christian Lighthouse Fellowship Church\, where he helped to secure financing for several renovation projects. Stanley also serves as Board President of the Fox Meadow Condo Association\, where he has championed fiscal responsibility and quality service\, working with vendors conscious of budget constraints. Previously\, Stanley led similar efforts as a board member of The Courts housing association in East Brunswick to restore the organization’s financial health.  \nAs a legislator\, Assemblyman Stanley prioritizes ensuring that the diverse constituents are represented. The Assemblyman made history when he became the first South Asian Assemblyman from Middlesex County. He works to meet the needs of all of the many communities he represents\, in ways that enhance the entire region as a whole\, while promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all members of the district. \n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”64px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nPresented in Partnership With\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”245264″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https://www.woodbridgechamber.com/”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”245252″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https://njbia.org/”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
